Fotek JSC develops and produces laser surgery equipment. A new laparoscope was designed in close collaboration with their team.
There are some significant features in new device: aspiration is realized in the hole between tubes of the device (therefore there is no need in additional aspiration tube). Nozzle adjustment, 360 pivot adjustment can be easily made by the fingers of one hand. The optical fiber slides forward and backward inside the tube when the doctor pulls the rear part of the device.
Standard medical connector allows to adjust the device with “Colibri” device and disposable optical fiber. This device may be easily disassembled for sterilization process. The shape is designed to minimize its weight. Engineer of the product – Youry Zmushko (Fotek JSC).
